Rebecca is a Managing Director in the Investment team focusing on both greenfield and brownfield investments.
She has led teams closing the Greater Gabbard OFTO, Equitix’s first investment in offshore transmission ownership (OFTO), the Gwynt-y- Môr and Humber Gateway OFTOs, the Full Circle Power EfW project in Belfast, the acquisition of a number of anaerobic digestion plants and the Stellar portfolio of purpose built student accommodation.
Rebecca serves as a board director on each of Greater Gabbard, Gwynt-y- Môr, Humber Gateway and Thanet OFTOs and continues to lead Equitix’s pipeline of opportunities within the sector.
Rebecca joined Equitix in November 2011 from the Lead Advisory team at Ernst and Young LLP (EY) where she advised Ofgem on the establishment of the OFTO tender process, led teams on a number of sell-side M&A mandates in the airports sector, and advised government bodies and private sector bidding consortia on PPP/PFI transactions across a range of sectors including transport (M25), health and education.
Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Rebecca worked for Arthur Andersen in the Specialist Finance and Business Modelling Group. She has more than 18 years’ experience in the project finance and infrastructure space covering energy from waste, renewables, utilities, transport, and social infrastructure.
Rebecca is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
